Geological Wonder

The rock formations in Garden of the Gods were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. The red, blue, purple, and white sandstones, conglomerates and limestone were deposited horizontally, but have been tilted vertically and then eroded over eons into the spectacular formations we see today.
